Every single one of them.
-
Correction almost every single one of them. I admit Knight has problems but they are still one of the better companys to work for at the moment.
-
Exactly how many others have you worked for?
-
Yes, but that is exactly the type of driver they want. Comes in, runs hard for 6months to a year trying to be a "team" player. Gets burned out and leaves. Rinse, Repeat.
-
When I hired on Dec 2003, Knight had about 800 trucks and was known as a 'driver's co.' There were 30 in my orientation class, and about 1/3 were 'rehires.' The instructors joked that they were the ones who thought that 'the grass was greener' but came back after finding out it wasnt. But, little did I know that at that time, Knight was planning on growing as a Swift wannabe co. and going after 'cheap freight' (i.e. the only competitor for that type of freight that nobody wanted was Swift!).
Now, sounds like being a Swift wannabe has caught up with them and they cant get the large no. of rehires (present co. excluded
), and thus started their Squire program (as well as another way for their bean counters to make more $$$).
And so weigh all that with the users comments on here that are "0-1 year experience.'...

Ive been at knight for 2 years. Things are good and i'm comfortable.

You think you are in a groove, have you ever considered it may actually be a rut?
OR
There's always an exception to the rule. Congrats on being the exception. -
Not really. I did the o/o thing, and a few other things in trucking. So far knight works for me.

How come you haven't went back to Pride yet?
