After delivering in Jacksonville on Wednesday I went to Riceboro,GA and reloaded going to Hillsboro,TX for Friday morning. I left GP Friday afternoon coming to University Park,IL to deliver at Sam's DC. Where I am now sitting waiting for the unload to finish. From Monday-Saturday I run 3305 paid miles with one extra stop.
Once finished at Sam's I'll take the rest of the day off to fininsh a 34 restart. Then Monday morning I'll go to Crest Hill,IL to reload going to Coon Rapids,MN (Minneapolis) for a drop/hook Monday night. Then head on over to Cottage Grove for my next outbound. Which I will find out sometime Monday what that will be. My hope is a Mid-West mom/pop then reload going home for CHRISTmas.
This company is NOT perfect, BUT......I really do enjoy working here.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

There is one part of the northeast world I would like to see again before it ends next Friday...I miss running to Maine. Although I don't miss running through the more populated areas getting there. But if the company treats you right, it is surprising how much different the outlook is from the drivers seat about those areas. If I'm P/O'd at the company...I hate the N/E(at Crete, once you're up there, you seem to stay up there), but it sounds like Poly gets you in, and gets you the heck out quick. None of the piddling around in Coryland for weeks. So the outlook of running up there is a much different experience.
48Packard and Weeble Kneeble Thank this. -

SS & 48, at Poly you will many an opportunity to travel to the NE & Maine. And it is true that we don't hang around up there once empty. Can pretty much count on a load going back to TX, and occasionally to Cottage Grove. MILES = $$$$$.
Since I chose to stay out an extended period of time to make up for the 16 days I took off in October my last five checks have been $1700+, $1900+, $1600+, $1600+, $1700+ take home (keep in mind I do not have Medical premiums at Poly as I'm insured thru wife's job). My point in posting those numbers is to prove we are given the miles to make some serious money. At one point this past summer I was given a backhaul out of the NW to Denver over the weekend, and was apologized to for the run not going all the way back to TX.
SS, thanks for getting my "Thanks" count of that demonic number.... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. CTRL+F5 reloads the whole page.
