Blache,
Our company isn't going to spank us for posting on here. Hell, that's free advertisement for them. Freymiller has treated me and my family very well so far. Last week, freight slowed down, but this week I'll have almost 3500 miles. Im going home for Christmas now, so I probably won't be posting on here until after I get back on the road. If you have any specific questions, then I will do my best to answer them. Otherwise, have a Merry Christmas!Bigdubber and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Thanks for the update! Merry Christmas to you as well! Glad to hear its going well and I hope it continues for you there... I had a friend driving there for awhile Denzil but he moved on last year so have been following this thread for all pertinent info.

Let's see...My miles sucked something fierce during January/Feb, but are finally picking up...hopefully. They gave me a new truck though! Not much else happening. Freymiller is a great company to work for, but if the miles don't improve....well you know.
Sorry, but not much at all happening. -
It's slow for everybody. No need to jump ship. Hang in there 3 gigs in lest then 2 years won't sit well with your next employer.
-
wow just talked to a recruiter online about these guys and things must be bad or they have a really selective hiring area all the time cause they are not hiring barely anywhere right now
-
Hey all,
Just to answer Rugerfan really quickly: We weren't hiring there for a time because we actually had all the trucks filled up...but that lasted all of about 2 weeks, and now we are hiring again.
And no jumping ship here Dinomite, but I have done a little bit of kicking and screaming.
Miles have certainly picked up lately. I'm back up to around 3,000mi/wk...and that's with weekly trips to the yard to get odds and ends fixed on this truck. You'd think that this being a brand new truck and all, it wouldn't have issues...yeah. Let's see: Steer tire ran flat; continual gallon every 4 days coolant leak; main air line cracked; needed alignment. I'm crossing my fingers that the Universe is now done being pissed off at me and will let me run a little without further mechanical issues. Anyways, they've been keeping me in the cold running 70 and 80 between PA/NJ and OK/AR. I don't mind it so much. The service plazas are nice (especially Ohio and their free showers.) I also get to stop at R's Place in Morris, IL and pick up my 4 pack of red velvet cupcakes. I'm in Dallas now about to pick up my load to be home on Thursday...just in time to go to the Grand Prix. Other than that, it's the same ol thing.
Until next time...Bigdubber Thanks this.
