Rumor of usa allow pets?

USA does not allow pets.

 

I don't know if they do hair follicle tests on pets or not. That is a good question though.

 

What does any of this drug testing response have to do with USA allowing pets. I've never been able to get my dog to pee in a bottle, maybe on it, but not in it.

 

I saw the dog at the terminal. They said they couldnt catch it n the mechanics claimed ot never bother anybody.

 

Usa does urine and randomly select for hair folicle. Also u shud know, no matter what company you go to if you are ever in a commercial vehicle accident. You must remain on site, give a achocol, and drug test within 24 hrs after of the accident. And if your found smoking dot is gonna have a field day with you. I kno someone who smoke weed home n he got into an accident two week later. He still locked up. It sucks

 

Just want to comment on what type of drug test USA does! Why does it matter what kind of test they do? If you have to worry about the test then you do not need to be at usa or driving a truck period! If you smoke a little weed and you think its alright to do so you have no business being behind the wheel of a 80.000 lbs truck! Are you out of your freaking mind! So if you are wanting to know what type of test then stay away from driving for any company!

 

i agree but people just want to beat the system. But from what i see the trucking system is expense if caught.

 

I think most questions about drug testing is a red flag giving away a persons true intent. However there are some people new to trucking and the testing program that have honest questions about the process. One such question came up in a conversation I had at USA Truck orientation back in November 2010 about the probability of a false positive. It's actually higher then you might think. The answer was because a split specimen is taken and used to test on a more reliable test in the event of a false positive on the first test. Also just because someone new to the process is asking questions does not necessarily mean they are worrying. When I started WSE orientation in August of 2011 I asked several questions about what to expect over those 3 days. I did not ask those questions out of worry, just asked them so I had some idea what to expect.

 

Yes it can be very expensive. If you get a positive back you have to undergo drug counseling and education at your expense and you don't get a return to duty clearance till this SAP person signs you off. It can take weeks to go through this. Your not allowed to question the SAP and you can't get a 2nd opinion. Another issue is a lot of carriers have a no tolerance policy and won't hire you even if you go through this process and get signed off to return.

 

OK I have had a couple hair follicle test done none with a DOT Job but still I have never heard of getting a false positive on that test but like anything else maybe its true! I know Piss test can come back that way! But still to me when a person starts to freak about a drug test to me its they got something to hide! Yes we were all new but never once did i ask about the drug test or even now they can test me 24/7 and it will come back clean! So why worry! Only thing i would have to worry about if nicotine and caffeine become illegal LOL! Its just me that it throws up red flags when i hear someone ask and concern about a drug test hair test or pee test! Just my 2 cents
