i wonder if you'd even be aware right before you died of CO poisoning? I'm at the Alamo in Sparks and woke up smelling really strong exhaust. Both trucks next to me are idling. The truck on my passenger side is downwind, so I turn the key on to crack that window. Son-of-a-bit&# - the window doesn't work any more! Now I'm laying here trying to do different math problems in my head to test if I'm going under. I feel dizzy as he11, or is it just sleepy? I have a feeling this is going to be a long night.Last edited: Jan 12, 2013

Yep, when I had my leak it kept melting a hole in the air line for the shift selector. Kept losing 1 thru 5th. Then is forced me to do a parked regen.......bailout, bailout, bailout, this is no drill. The cabin filled with the foulest smoke. Thank God, I gave the POS star back to the dealer and got a new one. Now no longer with Crete, but driving a PS day cab. Only has 25k on her......waiting to see if the problem is still occurring. Have to have just over 100k if it still is on going.

Finally (2x). Finally (part 1), 2nd shift at the USPS depot got moving and got me out of there just in time to hit rush hour traffic on I95 in CT. 90 minutes to go 35 miles. This little short run from York to CT put me over 2400 miles for this week. Finally (part 2), I got a decent run out of CT. AMM said that they were ---overbooked by 3 loads in CT for Saturday---- yes, you read that right, overbooked on freight, in the NE, in Jan, on a weekend. They have me picking up in New Milford, CT(north of Waterbury) going to the Kimberly Clark warehouse in Romeoville, IL for anytime Sunday. Drop and hook both ends, a 950+ mile, 2 day run. And my bunk heater, while it still works, almost sounds like a coffee grinder at the Walmart... I guess it's got to come appart before it's allowed to be fixed under warranty. With my luck, it will be the pump that circulates the coolant, and it'll go out spilling all my high dollar 'Maxxfarce approved yellow gold' and causing me to have to be towed.

I was just standing around chatting with another Creaffer in York the other day. He was driving a brand new,(so new it didn't have a license plate) '13 Prostar. His came with an outside thermometer and a digital compass. Finally, they got the message. Supposedly it is just a software upgrade...I wonder who I have to talk to in order to get it upgraded...at least for the thermometer...I don't care about a compass...like I need another piece of electronic technology telling me where to go.
