I like the Indy terminal. I also really like Indy. I lived there when I was a kid and every time I go through town I get thoughts of wanting to move back.

That describes exactly my main complaint with the company. Most of my bad situations are eventually rectified but only after major battles with dispatch. My last few weeks have gone very smooth precisely because I have had almost zero interaction with them ... until today. I haven't taken any days off since Thanksgiving because I was trying to make up for low miles. I scheduled my days off a couple of weeks ago but made a big mistake. I thought I would get more favorable treatment if I gave them a flexible window (eg saying any time within 7-10 days). Instead, I'm pretty sure they just erased the request. I've been circling the area (West coast) for a couple of weeks now. Every time I tell them ok I'm ready to head for days off, they send me pplans heading 1000+ miles due east.

Finally today I tell them look I need my days off ASAP, can I tcal a ld. The asset manager sends a few bitc#y messages and I respond in kind reminding him of all my past requests. He got really pi$$ed and then demanded: "call me". I've never spoken to the guy and really didn't want to call just to be berated and lectured. But I knew he had locked me out of being dispatched so I called. Sure enough when he answered and asked my truck number, he said "what's up?". I just about hung up right there - as it perfectly displays their bizarre games. He had ordered me to call to call him. Yet basically asks me why I am calling - totally exasperating. So I just responded "what's up?" exactly repeating his words. After a bunch of monotonous lecturing he ended the call and I'm sure more retaliation will follow. I swear to God, sometimes I wish I just worked for robots or a giant supercomputer.

OMG, every time I am at Marietta, I go to Ted's' Montana Grill. The bison items are unbelievably delicious.
