Somewhere else in WI. Not quite as cold, but still chilly. Highest temp I saw today was 3 above zero. Headed to Toledo for Monday....get a 34 in probably on Sunday.

Sounds like you need to move to a carrier that doesn't assume that all of their drivers are meatheads - even when 98% of them actually are. :)

Actually i'd rather they did message me if the temp is off. Only time I look at that reefer temp is when I hook, fuel or shutdown. I'd never know if it shut off or wasn't cooling when i'm rolling or sleeping. And most of these trailers don't have a working corner viewable indicator light.

But I know what yer sayin:biggrin_25525:

Driver, if your gonna pull reefer, you need to get in the habit of looking at the temp anytime your feet hit the ground. We used to have to walk to the inspection door to check temp, it's so easy now there's no excuse for not looking.:biggrin_25513:

Well... Sioux Falls,SD... and after 2 weeks, me and my Star are off hunting some cars to load. And after working in NM for most of the last 4 months, I'm likely to freeze my tail as I've got almost no acclimation time to the cold. (Not to mention I don't even have a set of bibs yet!) At least it's only in the low teens tonight, not that bitter stuff that went through yesterday.

This has been what I am almost sure is the poorest paying week I've had with this hot shot outfit.

This was Friday mind you. And after about 15:45 I didn't do anything else on a day when I would usually be struggling to get it all delivered!

    Rolled in home 18:40...
