Faucett does have an excellent restaurant. I pass by there twice a day. Hubby and I like to drive that way every so often for a meal. I thought about driving by the Speedy's on my way out this morning, but didn't know what you drove or for whom, so I didn't want to drive through honking and wake up somebody I shouldn't :biggrin_25523: Only kidding, of course. Where are you headed for now?

Ended up with only 3 again. Morning thing started at 2 hours. Then go back for more paperwork. THEN go back for two notebooks that go the the two pieces on the pallet.
Dispatch says they'll get wait time and round trip(s) but we'll see.

Yes, the Trucker's Filler Up breakfast was very good. They were going to have jambalaya for lunch and if I wasn't so full, I would've stayed.

I drive for Magnum. Blue Pete with a white reefer. I was at Hillshire from 6-7:30 but then back until about 9:00 until I headed down to Faucett for a wash out.

Today was my good backing day!! :yes2557: Very good indeed!:biggrin_25519: My first backing was at a small yard with a street in front of it... the yard descended towards the dock and so much, I got a little concerned the truck might roll over cause I was in a sharp angle.... :biggrin_25524: After my backing was done, someone said on the CB "Good job!" :biggrin_25525: I looked and looked around but couldn't see any other truck... :biggrin_25511: Wondered where that came from... Anyway, later I saw a truck get stuck on the corner coming to the shipper... Went back and forth... :biggrin_25513: Poor guy, he probably didn't follow the shipper's directions and those streets were very very narrow... Took a picture of it.

Then, I told him to turn right at that corner... there was another warehouse that way were he could make a loop and come back. He did just that and was very thankful.... :yes2557:

Then, my second backing today at another shipper... the place was a zoo when I got there. And when it was my turn to do my backing... there were trucks everywhere, minimum room in front of the dock... AMAZINGLY, I did a blind side backing with very little room and was able to put truck at the dock with practically no pull up! :biggrin_2556: TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!! One of those things that I don't know how I did it, just wish it would happen every time... Funny thing, after I did my backing all the trucks went away and all became quite empty... I guess that was just for me. :yes2557: And it made my day!! :biggrin_25514:

I am back at that same WM parking lot in IN I was last weekend. Rushing to bed now. Gotta start driving at 4:30. Going towards Chicago... Will try to reschedule my p/up with shipper. I don't like 19:00 cst pick up appointments... :biggrin_25510: But if all fails, I want to have my 14 and 11 again to run all night if necessary. So... gotta run now... to bed... :biggrin_25518: Good nite y'all...
