Yes Dave... days like those, when things don't seem to go right can turn you down... even if you love what you do. But every day is a new adventure and hopefully better days will come to surpass the bad ones.![]()

Got to drive down 39 and 55 with a 30 mph headwind yesterday, got through St. Louis and then west on 44. After a torrential downpour, the wind switched 180 degrees and now coming out of the north, bending the flagpoles just as hard the other way. Figured Joplin was far enough.
Sitting outside the receiver, waiting for traffic to go away so I can bop over to Ft. Worth for my am pick up. I'm counting on there being street parking there because that is where I am taking my 10. -
the bottom pic looks like us421 on the south side of pine mountain going south to harlan

It turned out to be ANOTHER 3 delivery day when said and done.
Only reason I'm not ready to go postal is that I have something to pick up in Conroe, TX and then something on the way from there to SDV in the morning. Still COULD sit for hours after dropping the loads but I can hope......
By the way Rocks..... you have more guts than I to take that second pic! As good and easy to use as my Digital Camera is I'd almost certainly hit the wall or the guardrail trying!!!Rocks and NDBADLANDS Thank this. -
Im in Ripon, CA doing a reset. Glad for the reset time but now I am bored.

still @ home until Thursday. Hey rocks that pic looks like the roads I take to the oregon coast to go to georgia pacific down at Toledo oregon. I love those roads! 25mph curves that you really have to line up just right and allways shifting up and down to keep motoring through without lugging it down too much, its awesome fun truckin' !!
Theres a stretch of road coming down into idaho from BC thats just like that as well. On one of the curves you come around and go straight into a tunnel cut right through the raw rock, it looks for sure that you wont fit and if you meet a truck coming the opposite direction its a pretty close pass!Rocks Thanks this. -
Pratt KS, at the WallyWorld. Ran up from Lawton OK this morning, for a pickup in Liberal KS. Yes Pete, it was ready on arrival! (2 fer 2 on meat loads this week!)
So I'm in the Walmart in Lawton this morning, getting some McCoffee. There's this display... "Dream Water." It'll give ya the best sleep ever. Water with some other vitamins, etc in it. In a bottle the size of one of those 5-hour energy drinks. Hold on, hold on... here it comes...
$2.50 for a couple of ounces of water!!!

Found the last parking spot on the street in the part with no No Parking signs. Unfortunately, it is just past the railroad tracks and so far it is a pretty busy street.
BTW, I changed my name. I didn't want CertifiedSeetie having all the fun. -
