Yea they told me to give them a call back later to see what's going on with truck before they will put me in a hotel so basically I have to sit here into 6 pm into they will get me a room

 

ok Pete...well in the meantime find yourself a motel nearby(ask them if they accept Comdata Checks very rarely do they)...and hopefully is close by to a place that will accpet the Comdata checks(because most motels dont)..if you get in a position where you find it a non-walking distance than you will need to have the CWT Rd service give you approval for a taxi to that place(most of the time its a truck stop or related)..call CWT everyday for additional motel approval time, as they approve on a daily basis as your truck is being repaired..(hopefully they get you going good at the dealer)..at any rate get the approval each morning before checkout time, so your not scrambling wondering what to do..

 

Speaking of prostars, I'm very impressed with the fuel economy on mine. I just had my personal best mpg over 1000+ miles:




Actual mpg was 8.9 by the math (dont think the display counts regen fuel against you), but still... I just wish it would stop smoking under regens (egr cooler didnt do a thing but waste 3 days)

 

yep..I will agree double yellow I get good mpg with mine also..well until this EGR Valve/Cooler issue went...as the result when they go is loss of power/related

 

Called one place its 114 nite closeest one n will pick me up..

 

Pete listen to Free Spirited...dont let them keep you in the truck another night...anytime you break down and the truck goes in the shop they need to get you a room. If they dont take Comdata you can put it on a credit card and then get reimbursed...make sure you clear it with Road Service 1st though. I believe they will give you an authorization number for reimbursement.
