I don't bother looking at the bonus. I use the Smith system and try my best to see the big picture :biggrin_25525:

No. Absolutely not. But why are do people criticize those that are content, that's what I don't understand. And content does not mean we think things are perfect, but acceptable for now. There's no one that wants loads to pay less, or wait longer for loads, or to deadhead a greater distance. But each person's tolerance for any of those items varies greatly. Why do companies still advertising 90¢ per mile still have drivers signing on? At least for awhile we still have freedom of choice, work here, don't work here, I don't care. How many of the KoolAid drinkers do you see bashing other companies we have worked for? If they screwed us over we left and that's the end of it. There is no "one size fits all" in trucking. Anyone thinking that needs to get one of those government jobs where they write the rules as if that's true.

You gonna make me an offer I can't refuse?

I think we need to get some KoolAid pitcher decals made up to put on our trucks.

Hey, you tossed a couple of gold plated pennies. A steak dinner's on me if I ran into you.

No, Ray. You didn't tell me any lie as far as I can recall, and I appreciate you, Redd, and Lil Blue Pony for answering my questions. I'm sure I would have figured out stuff on my own eventually, but you guys helping me sure made things easier.

I really was satisfied for the first couple of years. But Mercer changed a little, and my situations changed too. Like skateboardman says, it's time for me to do something to adapt to the new situation, whatever that may be. Weighing options at the moment, while I'm waiting to see if things pick up sometime this month.

I'll still politely decline Koolaid, though. I'll stick with unsweetened iced tea.
