It's like poker, Logan; ain't no sense in ruining a good hand by telling about it before you rake in the pot. I only let him stew a minute or two before I told him what I'd done.:biggrin_2559:

    Oh yeah, Arkansaw, Wisconsin.

What a week :biggrin_25510: Back to back snowstorms 2 weeks ago, which led to drivers all having to work Saturday and not getting a 34. This week everybody is running on the hours they get back, which aren't nearly enough to cover all the loads the big shots in Dallas say need to get to the stores. I told the Transportation folks today it would be a lot easier on all of us if we notified the stores that WOULD be on time, rather than the lates. I told the gal next to me that has to send out the emails to all the stores she should make it easier on herself and just send a blanket email that tells the stores if they receive their Friday load any time tomorrow, it will be considered "within the delivery window" :biggrin_25523:

I'd like to know who's brilliant idea it was to go from 30 or less loads/day on good days, to 40 loads on a Friday when all 35 drivers have no hours and there is no help from the outside (flex fleet, intermodal, rail, other accounts, brokers, systems, etc).

New London, WI. Thanks to HOS, I will get home a day late. But, to make up for it, I"m enjoying all you can eat fish and an Oktoberfest. :)

Well, one of these days I figure I'm going to run into someone from here. I have had a few close calls bit nothing yet.

I do keep checking every car hauler I see for an "I Hate Roehl" bumper sticker to see if it is you.

Cranky Yankee and Hammer166 Thank this.
