This weeks goat-fornication began with their failure to get me home as scheduled for a Dr appointment that was scheduled for thursday. I got it rescheduled for Monday and was good to go, set PTA for Tues 0800. Nothing via QC, so I sent one asking about a preplan. Gena comes back asking if I'm out of the shop. I assured her I was not in the shop and the truck was ready. That was Tuesday evening.
Yesterday, same deal. No load, so I ask again by QC about a load. The only response I got back were two messages from my FM that were for another truck. No reply to my question....
This morning, I get a phone call from my FM ranting that the president of the company wants to know why my truck is not moving... DOH!! Are you serious? How incompetent does the GP ops crew have to be
for it to take a call from the president in JAX for them to realize I'm at home waiting for a load? I sent mac 29 (PTA) more than once. I explained that the truck had indeed started Monday afternoon when I pre-tripped it for Tuesday morning. I can send QC comms all day, but if they are ignored or del/unread, what can I do?
