Pete, I just never know when you're gonna be in the neighborhood. It wouldn't make much difference even if I did. All I do is go to work, come home, go to bed, get up and do it all over again. It would be nice to be in the same area as some of y'all and actually have a few minutes to say howdy.

Found out today that for the next 5 Monday's I'll be going in at 0430. The dispatcher has 40 hours of vacation she has to get used up. The boss was taking Friday's when he had to use up his time. Mayhap when I get to that point, I'll take Wednesday's, just to break up the week. I like to be different.

 

Headed right back across 80 again, tbis time to DeKalb, IL. Was going to stop at Walcott, but it is so much quieter at this little stop about 20 miles west of there.

How are the roads up there today, Pack? A couple of our drivers ran in to a lot of ice/snow that caused them some big issues this morning.

 

TransAm would be a new one in the yard. We have Swift, JBHunt, Waller, Tango, Werner and I'm sure some others I forgot to mention. I have to admit I haven't seen TA in there.

 

80 was beautiful....aside from the yet-to-be-recovered cars and rigs in a few spots! Bright sunny day!
