Question here, My cousin started school in Wisconsin, Waukesha county technical college, obviously for his cdl. Here's the scoop he's 40 hasnt had verifiable work history for last 5 years and has 3 prior felonies from 1995 and 1997 and a disorderly from 09, what are his chances getting a job after he gets his cdl?

No problem, it's just that his choices may be limited. Tell him to apply online with these companies. He will probably get a couple of job offers from the list. He may have to explain what he was doing the last 5 years. Was he in prison, or no one would hire him, etc. Be upfront on the applications & he will be hired:

Depends what the felonies are for; but with the most recent one being 16 years ago, it should be OK. The disorderly from 4 years ago might be a bigger problem; but the biggest one from your post is the lack of verifiable work history. Most companies require a 10 year work history. Also the 2 felonies on his record will mean he won't be able to accept any loads going 2 Canada.

One of the felonies was substantial battery and a drug charge, no prison time for his missing years of employment.

Never will get a TWIC card or be allowed on certain government locations including some airports if they do a check.
