Many loads are posted with everything added "all in". We get the breakdown, when we call for details. Agents do not do their own billing of customers, nor collections. That is all done through LS's corporate offices. LS then disperses the money to the truck and the Agent. An Agent could possibly get a load, through their own brokerage, then broker it to their LS Agency. LS does know who has their own Brokerage Authority and does keep an eye on that.

 

I am a bco and recently spoke to an agent. She told me recently about a landstar agency who had a brokerage and was skimming fuel off the loads through their brokerage. Then they were posting the loads to bcos after they skimmed thir money. i heard they were no longer with landstar after that situation.

 

And now it's gona be a landstart thread. Atleast that's little better than a bayou hotshot thread.

 

I guess they need two threads to call their own.
