Don't forget, Central Refrigerated is a newer division of SWIFT!!! It's run by the same schyster attorney than owns SWIFT. He knew not to name it "Swift Refrigerated."

If you can afford to pay for a school and get your CDL A you will have more options open to yoou and not be obligated to a company for 1-2 yrs. Some companies offer tuition reimbursment. Good luck which ever route you take. I would look at getting Hazmat and tanker when you get your CDL upgrade it will open more doors for you.

CR England lady just called me back. She says I need to get my class a License in NC before they can bring me on. Says they have brought in people from NY and NC and Mass but state regulations won't let them switch licenses over etc...I was like ok....whatever...ever heard about this? Needing a license before they will hire me on? Weird...I need training to get my license christ its been 6 years since I was in school for truck driving and I need more work.

Did you check out Millis? I think they charge $500.00 upfront for their school and I think they have one in Georgia.
