over head panel lights not coming on and low oil pressure alarm is not sounnding

    Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I am trying to figure out why my overhead panel lights went out all of a sudden and my low air pressure buzzer doesn't sound when I first crank the truck up. It makes no sounds what so ever. I have a 2005 Kenworth w-9 with a c-15 cat motor. I have checked the fuses and wiring. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    It has to be a fuse somewhere. I was trying to connect my cb radio on the top console of my tractor and something went wrong, wrong connection and lost all gauges when i open the switch. Called Freightliner and a Service technician told me where to look. It was a mini 30 amp fuse. Now you say you lost it suddenly? if no help in here, i would call Kenworth tommorow.

    it might be just as simple as your plugs on the backside that connect to them have come loose. something simple to check and only involves 2 screws. there are two plugs on the backside of those warning lights. hope it helps

    Try the low air event again but with the driver's door open. Some reason the alarm on mine will not sound with the door closed but does with the door open. So when I do inspections, I leave the door open, usually have to anyway as the inspector is standing right there on the step looking in for the red light and alarm.

    Look in the fuse panel for a fuse marked warning lamps & make sure it is good. This controls the overhead light strip.

    The only ones i lost power to were the check engine light, low air warning. They won't light up or make the buzzing sound.
