"My Bad". Prepass. I get em mixed up.

 

You know, I've had 3 Level III inspections in the time I've worked for USA and not once did I get any log or other paperwork violations. In fact, I've been praised each time on the neatness of my logs. I'm not a DOT officer, a Safety Dept "expert", or a long time veteran driver, but I'm convinced that a lot of the violations could be avoided if some drivers would just clean it up. When I say that I mean, I've seen log books that look like a kindergartener filled it out with a black crayon. I've seen lines that look more like a parabola than a straight line. In fact, last time I was in Van Buren to pee in a cup for the Safety folks, they were doing a log book audit/review on another driver and I could hear Alicia telling the guy "You know we issue free rulers in Orientation right? Do you own one and know how to use it?" Lol! I mean, c'mon....I've seen flaglines that look like spore pods growing off mold, and the writing is a cross between doctor's shorthand and Arabic.

 

Unless your paper logs are a complete fib as long as they are legible you will prob be alright
