Anyone out there know anything about Carroll Fulmer? Husband thinking about signing up with them. Would appreciate if anyone has worked for them or knows anything about the way they operate before making a decision...thanks

They have an ad almost every day on Craig's list, for a company to need that many drivers all the time says volumes, especially when you add that they only have 300 or so trucks.... I left orientation first day on my own dime, too many red flags and I went anyway, my bad, won't happen again... Their turnover is very high but that doesn't mean they don't work for everyone I guess....Good luck!!!

mostly just questionable statements, some regarding how you can use elog line 5 (personal conveyance) to get from place to place without burning hours, framework for a safety violation for sure, basically how they treated people there, kind of talking down to people... actually it was the second day I left, first day we really just did paperwork and went for pee tests... The way everyone spoke gave me the impression that they still want to operate as an outlaw company but don't want to accept responsibility when you get burned using the elog the wrong way. There were other "feelings" that I really can't find the words for but... oh, and you are kind of forbidden to go on any of these forums and tell about your adventures either, kind of an unwritten rule there too.... I have met several people that have gotten burned there after the fact, one guy I know calls them Carroll ###### you over!!! Kind of cute don't you think???

I was wondering about CF's Orientation pay and how they do things there? and can you request a specific truck you want like getting one of their KW's if you ask nicely?

What they told me before I left about truck assignments was only a little, they assign by what's available in the yard, the KW's were older so you might stand a chance at getting one... They were getting new macks pretty regularly, I still pass there often and can see them so you might get something new too.... Good luck if you go there.

I may drive for them. How did it go for you? Are the comments correct in your opinion?

I love the place!!! I couldn't ask for a better company..I will admit that when some of these other guys tried to go work for them they were pretty crappy..but they have gotten rid of those cowboys and yahoos now..Its actually a really decent place to work..I make 800 to 900 bucks a week and that's them taking money away from my 75 allowance and handing it to me every sunday..but other than that..I love it oh and by the way..I don't use my allowance no more so its now 900 to 1000 bucks a week :D
