Sitting in Lubbock,TX got here last night, turned into a very interesting night, got woke up by the cops telling everyone they had to evacuate Flying J and head to the Civic Center, which they were announcing over there mics and at first you couldn't understand. Got out and asked what was going on and the cop was like wake up everyone you can there's been a hazmat spill just up the road and it will make you very sick, about 2 miles up the road hydrochloric acid was sporing, the cops went around the parking lot for about 15 mins and then as we were getting dressed to move the second cop tells everyone it's voluntary so we stayed, hubby used to work for a hazmat company said we really weren't in danger as far as we were. And they women inside Flying J talk about funny acting LOL, off to Flower Mound tomorrow !!

At home, catching up on chores. Spent over an hour at the pharmacy this morning trying to get a 90-day fill, but Con-Way's benefits would only allow a 30 day supply. What's more, I can't get another refill until 28 days have passed -- absolutely ridiculous for an OTR trucking company especially since I could be out of the country for a week. After waiting to speak with various people, I call Medco and discover that a 90-day supply is only available via mail order direct from express-scripts and that I need to see my doctor to have him fax them form. I had planned on seeing my doc this trip, but I missed my appointment by 2 1/2 days & his next opening is after I'm back on the road. And, after all that, I learn that these so-called prescription "benefits" would only save me $14 on a 90-day fill vs paying cash for the uninsured rate at Walmart!

Well even on my H/T my No-Star is in the dealer....LOL...good thing I can make extra money doing gigs with my guitar here and there...LOL....like I said before this time my bubk heater is dead and my inverter only works up to 750 watts and kicks out....thus far the dealer tells me they are working with the manufacturer of the heater which is Esbar..and with the famous Intl. warrantee people...the dealer tech is suppose to be talking to the bunk heater factory tech for further diagnostics/repairs of it....I was gonna just let it go to Fall/Winter but hey I dont like waking up freezing up in BC,Canada and CO, etc ..so figured I bring it in on my H/T..comes to be I wont be getting back on road from my H/T on the date of return due to teh UM UM ...No-Star again...LMBO....this thing has a rap sheet a mile long...okay well carry on my fellow Conway drivers...lol
