Sure... you can do just about anything you want, unless it involves drilling holes or cutting openings. Talk to the detail shop, they'll probably install it for you.
It does depend on which APU you have. My TriPac came with an 1800W inverter.
1000W isn't very much. You won't be playing Green Acres as much as Flintstones with that little power. Most electronics outside of CPAPs don't mind modified sine waves as an input, although HP printers can't stand it... they don't like being bounced around either.
IF you want more power, talk to the detail shop. Don't go messing with your inverter setup on your own since the company takes a dim view of having their tractors burned down to the frame. The detail shop will install something larger for you, but consult them first because there are limitations to what they'll put in. That goes for power output AND brand.
I signed one of those awhile back on the company side, and I can't find the darned thing tonight. I still have it- so (guessing) I believe it's 11 years as a minimum. There was a small charge for rider insurance, a couple of bucks I believe.
That's for each individual, since they have to sign it as a release.
I think you can have someone in the bunk as well, but I've only had one on board at a time. I'll check on the lease limitations for riders if I remember in the morning. On one of the other threads, someone said that having a rider in the lightweights works ok... had his SO along if I remember. The bunk will work for two... its "cozy."
@MsJaimie... don't even start thinking that leasing is a good idea because you want a bigger truck to entertain in.

Thanks for the feedback, IP.
Oh, I'm definitely going company for at least a year before I even consider leasing. It'll take at least that long to get the debt down and the reserve fund up.
I plan on becoming a TnT trainer, so I know I will eventually end up in a condo.
The 1000W was a typo. I intended to put 2000W. I plan on cooking most of my meals on the truck, so 1500W is marginal. I assume the brand restrictions are to keep the crap out of the truck. I have my eye on a sweet Tripp-Lite (about $1000); it'll be a while before I can afford it. Fortunately, it'll be a while before I get my own truck... -
does prime make the drivers do sleep apnea test?
-
They do test the ones that meet the criteria. I don't know why people are so afraid of the sleep test. If you have sleep apnea, the difference is amazing.

Rider policy for lease-ops. You just have to sign the release form, and send it back to your FM. 1 rider, except during the summer months when you may have two. No age limitations for the riders (unlike the company guys,) but small children must be provided with an age-appropriate car seat that meets all of the requirements of whichever states/localities you'll be travelling through. -
what is the critiria for sleep apnea. i tried to sleep with the mask before and i just couldnt do it

I was looking at the medical benifits for Prime and they don't look all that great. Any suggestions for just me and the wife???

minimum 4 hours continuous usage when asleep. 70 percent or above for the 90 day period.
Machine is too smart for some of the dummies out there who thought they'd just turn it on and let it run all night without wearing the mask. It knows when and how awake you are and how deep of sleep. -
Sorry if I'm not getting it from what I read. What I wanting to know is Prime's O/O lease program worth the time u put in it? I know how to work hard but I know I don't want to become a slave to my truck
