Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Don't remember the name, but it's one of those occupational clinics.

 

Dang. Requested that a replacement air hose be brought to the terminal so I could replace the one that broke but of course this wasn't done. I didn't feel like fighting rush hour traffic and maybe not making it to the place before they closed so I just asked them again to have it at the terminal the next time I am in. Also someone screwed up and didn't put me on the outbound board when I QC it last Friday for tomorrow. Luckily I called this afternoon as I thought I should have received a call by then as was told that I was not on the board. Did manage to get a load though to KC but I dread that trip with the high likelihood that I will get shafted by the old Del Monte back haul. Oh well roll with the punches I suppose and be grateful that most of the time things work out better around here.

Tornado conditions abounding around here tonight. Think the first cell missed us here in the yard but still several more likely coming through tonight. Winds picking up.

I think its CareNow Clinic or something like that. Its pretty close to the terminal.

 

Care Now is the correct name. It's next to the Home Depot off I-20 and Carrier Parkway exit. North side of I-20 in shopping center on the west side of Carrier Parkway. Several eating choices located there as well. Guessing it's approximately 10 to 12 blocks from the Poly's Hotel California(Lol)! Hope that helps those wanting to know!

 

Nice to know that I am still wanted Got a call from Crete recruiting today asking me if I was interested in coming back on board. I politely said I wasn't in a position to make a change right now but I would let them know if something came up.

 

Did you tell them you could save them some time and effort by letting the otherCreteand Shaffer drivers know as well? I lost so much going back to them last year and still losing but I do have to say I'm getting more miles where I'm at. Now, if I could only get a cal from GP...just a matter of time.
