Denver, taking a day off (kinda) - two Spocks? Weird. Playing with grandson... very cool! Annual DOT inspection. I can tell this is going to be an expensive evening, and it doesn't even involve a blonde!

 

Well, took my CDL test this morning...trifecta'd! Dropping a load locally at 4 AM then it's off to California at lunch tomorrow.

 

Congrats! Which truck were you in? I was at the pad all morning, watching the festivities.

Roanoke, VA on the way to Augusta. Got in here at 3AM. Glad I used the TA reserved parking. I hate that they have it, but it is nice when there are no spots left, except yours.

 

Awesome!!! I remember when I was still practicing and was waiting in the shack for my Instructor to arrive a guy trifecta'd ... He went weak in the knees and his instructor had to help him to a chair and told him he needed to go for a walk and get something to eat.

 

I was in the red freightliner. Was number 6 on the list that morning. I was the driver that the DOT guy came running up to our truck to ride in for the road test.

We are now just killing time at the yard before heading to CA.

 

Ready to get back on the road. Got a load going to KY (by Cincinnati) for Saturday afternoon. Time to get back to work!
