Daddy always said experience was the best teacher. If you want to learn how to haul hazmat, just get out there and do it! :biggrin_25523:

Seriously, most states CDL license manuals have a hazmat chapter. Go to your licensing center and ask them for the study guide, since that's where you'll be taking the test anyway.

    pattyj Thanks this.

That's worked for many of us . Refreshing the test gives new questions

Three weeks ago, I did exactly what superpet39 and RickG advised you to do here. I'd recommend you take the full 30 question test over and over. I studied for 3 days, probably totaling 12 hours of study time, taking these tests over and over... and over... Passed the Haz with a 93.3%. I don't know if its the same around the country, but in Texas you'd need an 80% to pass. That's equivalent to being able to miss 6 questions out of 30. There was only one question on the 30 question test that I didn't come across in these TR tests. Multiple choice test. Had to guess on that one question and missed it. Missed one other as well. IMO: Doing what's recommended is the BEST and most efficient way to study!
