Where Are You....continues........

Busted my hump to get the outside of the house ready for a 3:30 showing. Made a trip to the dump and made two trips to deliver my JD 318 and accessories to the guy who bought it.

And they didn't show.

 

I'm in TN. Had a very nice day today... went to a southern "open" baptist church today with a friend and her family. It was quite interesting... it was one of those mega, MEGA churchs, maybe 2000 people, two big screens on the stage, 2 or so camera men, big band... and today they had a different program, celebrating the 4th of July, had a big choir singing patriotic songs, National Anthem Lyrics and such... Honoring and applauding former Vietnam soldiers and other service people who were there. Then had a man dressed in uniform to enter the room with the American flag and put it on the stage, and everybody recited the "Pledge of Allegiance"... I've never seen any church service like that... But it was great!! Then, they had a Pentecostal priest from TX to do the preaching... ALLELUIA!! I am not a church goer person but I enjoyed...
Then my friend, her family and I went out for lunch and then I hang out at her place and helped them doing some yard work and such... It was quite a nice day...

Shucks....for a quick second there, I thought I was pretty smart. But, like always....that feeling was fleeting. Glad you had a terrific day!

 

So good day today... TruckerDawg spent the day at the beauty saloon... looks like a Schnoozer again, instead of an abbreviated sheep dawg. Got a new fuel card that actually works. Got the truck washed, APU serviced, belts tightened... the really annoying squeal is gone. Finishing up on getting the steers rotated.



On to new contract in the AM.

It weren't no major thing to get them drums got and trailered.
Now it's about time for me to hit the sheets.

 

Dave... you start to "sound" like some folks here... "It weren't no major thing...?" So, it was a major thing. "...to get them drums got?..." "...and trailered...?" Sorry man, but you got me lost on that last one... Have a nice rest man... you deserve it.
