The holidays are hard for a lot of drivers but they try to get people home when they can not everyone can be home. Yup Koolaid is good bro!! It's positive purple nurple flavor you must have negative nelly sour puss special flavor. You all be safe and keep your head up....

Welcome to trucking!! You pick up that load you will deliver it. Trucking companies don't care about holidays freight still needs to be moved. I actually like working holidays less traffic in the bigger cities and you don't have the excuses of why they can't get you home. Just take the load I'm sure they will be able to get you back home after the holidays. Take one for the team. Seems like they have been good to you up to now. You can't let a bump in the road bring you down.

i would just pick the load up and get it delivered....when i driving, and belive its the same today, loads out of florida are very hard to get..it might be a feather in your hat, and freymiller seemed to be decent on getting me home....i lived in phoneix, so it was probably a bit easier than other places. ....they will get ya home, maybe not when you want.....thats trucking.....
floatnlikefiber and Dinomite Thank this. -
They ever get you relayed?
My hubby having problem this weekend as well. Hasn't been home since he left for orientation on the 9th of June. He delivered in NC and he checked with his DM to make sure his home time was in for the 6th. His DM said he saw it. Well yesterday they gave him load picking up in GA to deliver on Monday in CO. He sent message to DM and of course was off yesterday... Today his DM said he is working on a relay. It would be no big deal, but he has a doctor appointment on Monday. So we will see what happens.....

^^ This person here must of been fired by Freymiller for not being good enough so don't listen to his whining. Sorry to here about your home time problems, where do you live? I am usually home a day or two from requested time if not on the same day. Hopefully you get to see him soon and keep your head up k.
trucker1206 Thanks this. -
We live in Cincinnati, Ohio... they said was a good area and they had freight through here all the time. Maybe it is just the holiday weekend and a lot of people requested home. Bad thing is though is that he has dr. appointment on Monday. They are having him swap loads with someone that is getting him home but not until Tuesday. So now he has to miss going to the dr. Under normal circumstances I could reschedule without a problem. But his dr. was on vacation this week and she is booked solid for this next week. So I am hoping that they can work him in somewhere so he can get his refills on his diabetic meds. Just frustrating.. But that is trucking... LOL
I don't listen to negativity! We learn as we go.. All companies have their issues... I looked back at this thread and I don't see where home time has ever been an issue with anyone. So like I said it is probably because of the holiday weekend. We will see the next home time request what happens.
I wonder why just 3 weeks ago that same person was telling people that he didn't have any issues with Freymiller and telling posters who to contact in recruiting... Just sayinLast edited: Jul 6, 2013

I understand if you have had issues with Freymiller, however, I don't understand why you always have to post sarcastic remarks here where no one wants to read them.
Just saying... move on and out!Rick Brown Thanks this. -
Seems to me that a diabetic driver without meds would be a Safety issue, so the next time he needs to see a doctor to have his prescription renewed he needs to put his foot down about getting home to see the doc on time.
And yeah, in the future you would probably want to consider scheduling important appointments away from holidays. It seems logical to pair up holiday home time with important appointments in order to keep out on the road as much as possible, but considering that everybody wants holidays off means that some are going to lose out. In this case they may even have planned on having him home on time but something happened that you don't know about and they had to make it workDinomite Thanks this.
