    Was on my way to Van Buren ran into some issues so at WM now. Kinda crazy around here. Only seen 1 or 2 Mechanics working. Rest of the shop empty. Offices empty. Dispatch office locked up. Weird.

    I have a rumor to spread as well. I've been seeing quite a few USA drivers pulling Landstar trailers lately. I didn't think too much of the first one I saw but after six more I figure there must be something to it. I just thought I'd throw this info out there since it's 100% true.

    A company doing well and "trucking" along doesn't have these kinds of changes this often. Something could be about to happen.

    As the company continues to improve its customer base you will continue to see all kinds of different trailers being pulled. I've yanked Ryders, Landstars, intermodals, shop rite and a few others. Makes good business sense to strech the outlines of our business.

    Ok I was not throwing.out a rumor I was asking if anyone had heard anything. And as far as the wm situation is concerned its not a rumor its true. I finally got it verified from van buren. They let the FMs they had there go.and the term mgr. I guess the experiment didn't work like they thought it would.

    I doubt very seriously it had to do with USA s financial situation be it good or bad.

    I was just on the telephone with an FM out of WM 2 days ago regarding one of my loads I had to relay so they apparently didn't let all of them go.

    You didn't give an exact count but you did state that you were told that they let all of the FM's in WM go. I wasn't trying to start an argument but whoever told you that is wrong.
