Hello, I was wondering if you go straight to solo once you completed schooling and the 200hrs of on the road training? or do you get put on teams?
How long till you go solo with Central?

they have solo positions, you are not forced to team except during your training
KennyG Thanks this. -
solo team is not forced

2 Years teams!
And then if you are not related to the England clan or a member of the church there in Utah then you will be put on a team indefinitely!
No I'm joking, Why are you going to Central? If you can get in with almost any other company, I would certainly like to hear that you do, the games and the Flease they push you into is just a joke. I wish you well learn as you go if there isn't something you are grasping then ask some else to explain it to you. I wish you well.

hahahahah, I guess I could do some more looking around at companies that are willing to train. I don't have to funds to go to a CDL school, so the first company that popped up on my search was Central. I have heard good and bad things about them but also I keep seeing the same thing about all other companies. Would you mind giving me a off the top of your head list of companies with a training program? I live in Washington state if that helps.iorena Thanks this. -
I heard they run 3 guys on each truck. 8 hours shifts and 7 days a week.

LOL! Right...
You can go solo as soon as you are done with training... You might have to go a 'recover' a truck if there isn't one at the terminal you up grade at. Sure they try to sell leasing, but no you don't HAVE to lease... I know multiple people that are still company drivers, and are solo... There are even company teams!!
You get from Central what you put into it... We've been with them for almost three years now.kbar909, scottied67 and L84AD8 Thank this. -
