In the yard getting my apu repaired and walk up to the bunkhouse. There's a guy there with his pants ripped all the way down the back with his butt hanging out talking on his cell one. One of the new trainees just finishing up his first week. I asked if he had another pair of pants he said yes and said he hadn't showered yet. He saw nothing wrong with roaming around with his butt hanging out in front of women let alone his potential new employer.

Going to Kent or Spokane? If Kent, be ready to sit for a few hours. You'll probably go to Omaha or De Pere out of Sumner. Drop and swap.

Yeah there is, if you get there before 1800 I think? I never made it so I stayed in North Bend or Ellensburg. If you stay in North Bend, get there early. Fills up fast

    Bram Thanks this.

Maybe someone on here can help me. A recruiter from HOW came to my CDL class on 8/14. I applied online that night. I waited a week and followed up on my application with a call. The recruiter said that I has been denied but couldn't tell me why and said to call back in a couple of days. I called back in 2 days and a different recruiter told me that many folks were on vacation and to call back in a couple of weeks because they couldn't tell me the reason for my denial either. Today was 2 weeks. I hadn't been in a hurry because I just finished the class today and passed my CDL test. I called HOW and they still can't tell me why I was denied. I have a spotless MVR, no gaps in employment ever, and nothing on my DOT medical card. Today they said I could try back in 6 months but still no reason for my denial. HOW has all the options I was looking for in a company. Every other place I applied offered me a trip to orientation, no problem, but each company had one or two little things that I didn't like. Anyone on here have any clue why I might have been denied? I was told that there is a Hiring Committee and that they didn't pass on any info for the denial. Anyone know anybody on the Hiring Committee that I could contact?

Got an email back from HOW today. They sent my app back through and offered to bring me to orientation 9/17.

To me, they seemed like the best shot at miles, their insurance is better than most, competitive pay, good home time, pet policy, and they have the best tuition reimbursement offering.
