First and foremost, driving for de Boer means you will NOT be paid a fair wage. Where most companies will pay you 35-38 cents a mile, THEY will pay you 32.5. Dispatch is bordering on incompetent, so you'll be lucky to clear 2000 miles from sunday night to friday night. You'll find yourself being ambushed with an unexpected 10 hour break, right after you just finished one, so you can cover a load that dispatch forgot about.

Second and even more important, when you get a better offer from another company, no matter what you do to leave, they will try to send you as far as possible from home when it's time to quit and forget how to get you back, or if you turn down that final load, they'll LIE and put a "quit under dispatch" on your DAC report. Now, I was under the understanding that you're only considered "under dispatch" if you send the "load acknowlegement" macro. Fortunately, most reputable companies "know how de Boer operates" (re: Bottom Feeder Transport).

And to think I was GRATEFUL to these A-holes for "helping" me get my foot back in the door. I'm off to orientation on monday for 40 cpm practical vs the 32.5 hhmg I was getting from BFT.

If you go to work for these douche bags, watch your back. Everyone needs a second chance, but make sure you have a job completely lined up before you leave, or you might not get another one.

I will be contacting an attorney to sue for defamation of character.

Save your money to start off with.

Jump through the hoops of the HireRight rebuttal form and go the free route first. If you can't get the DAC cleaned up then you might think of the DOC suit but really why?

If you're hired on with another company after BFI then the DAC doesn't matter. You have a job. The only person to see those POS DAC reports will be the next company you apply to.

Yes, you can threaten DeBorer with a law suit but as with most of these BFI's out there they will laugh at you and just have DAC remove the false report from the records. Done deal.

A lawyer will make all the money from any law suit of this nature!
He'll get his pay from you plus the 33% of the winnings!
You will lose the 33%, his pay AND hours on end to sit in the court room to testify against DeBorer. Yes you will! This is NOT a traffic ticket that you don't have to show up for but an actual suit and if you think you'll get "big" money go for it! No, Really, do but it'll be chump change if anything!

If you are some big name TV reporter, movie star, sports jockey or someone with a "name" a defamation of character suit is actually a big laugh and a waste of tax money and waste of a judges time. Live with it and move on as a BFI isn't worth the waste of time you'll be looking at.

Just go to hireright.com and fix the report yourself for free and a few minutes of your time sitting waiting on the truck to get loaded.

    2 birds with one stone.

Well not much on here about DeBore soooo I'm thinking they can't be that bad. I have 3 DUI"s from the late 80's and had a hard time getting started with any company. I have 1 month local experience pulling hoppers, no fun meal stinks. So it's between these guys and Western Express, 16 pages on WE. Anyone help please....

Depends on where you live? The closer you live to the freight lanes, Or terminals, the easier it is to get home time

I started with de Boer back in 05. They treated me fine. I live in Dallas and never had a problem getting home. Decent miles. The one big complaint I had and the reason I left was equipment. The trucks are terrible or were. I see the trucks from time to time and they still seem pretty rough. Back when I was there they did a lot of paper mills and delivered to Chicago a lot. All in all not too bad.
