The pic below is a direct response to Big_Don based on a comment we made on a different thread. Before everyone starts to freak out, I actually tripled into the drop yard. I was told to grab a 48 footer and hook to my front 28', and to Rocky to my next terminal. Figured instead of breaking everything apart, why not just hook the 48 straight to the front, pull the pup out from the other two, then drop the converter dolly off all in one shot without unhooking everything back and forth. Sad thing was all four trailers were destined for the same place. Anyway, if you know who I work for, please don't blurt it out. I made this kinda just for fun to see what it looks like. But I am curious how many DOT/state violations that would have been. Gross vehicle weight roughly 155K

Yes, probably. But I didn't want to blur out everything. Just wanted to keep the company logos out so others can't go: Look at these idiots go! Rocky doublles plus two in the rear. BTW, there are plenty of Holland trailers that other carriers buy. They just peel off the logo and keep the other colours.

Those are called Rocky Mountain Quads ;)

Look at all the truck drivers that would be out of work. Don't give anyone any ideas.

The real question is "How far could I have gotten in reverse gear?".

OK, so you had a set of quads. Big deal. If you'd abin a REAL driver, they would've all been 53 footers, and you'd had a converter gear on your front pintle with another 53 on it.

If you are referring to Roadtrains... then yes. They are legal on private roadways.
