Here's something new. My estimate of $12 appears to be accurate according to this.

It's just a matter of time before either Knight or someone takes over USA truck.
-
Based on the information we have we are able to assess that a takeover by Knight can't and won't happen. From what I understand the board of directors are against the merge therefore it won't happen, at least not in the short term. It doesn't matter how much stock Night buys, If the board says no to the merge then it won't happen, at least until new board members are elected by the share holders. This is a pointless debate.
Thomas0810 Thanks this. -
Ha ha ha ha... It doesn't matter how much stock Knight buys?? You do know that buys a nonstock to take 51% of the company they own it don't you??
-
Some of you have obviously been educated on "Business for Dummies". I'm wondering why some of you have such a desire to see USA taken over anyway. Why should It matter to you?
-
You do know that if Knight can persuade Franklin, T. Rowe, Perritt, DFA and Vanguard that they can run the company better than USA Trucking management then the BoDs will not have any option. Those 5 fund families own most of USA Trucking stock in their funds.
I will go out on a limb and prognosticate that Knight has already won the approval of most of the funds to take over USA Truck for an instant gain for their own mutual fund shareholders. -
You dont have a clue how business works...its very obvious!!...how much is usa paying you to go out and paint a rosie picture of them?

I made 3 posts out of the 12 pages worth. I must be a good painter.

And they don't know that it's up to the shareholders who already support Knight. I don't know why these guys are so caught up in USA. I bet they go in the office and kiss every last butt in there. At least that's what it seems like.
-
Your correct. Its entirely up to the shareholders and it was also the shareholders that voted in the current board of directors that happen to be against the merge therefore it will not happen, at least not in the short term. But, in the mean time you guys will have something to squabble over.
