Call them again this morning to see if you can talk with someone personally just as a follow-up to your voicemail.

Since i signed that sheet about chains. Seems like I'm getting offered loads out of GP going west and east now. Not just eastern or midwestern loads now.

What's the hp in our volvo's? Have not driven a volvo in about 6 years but when i did for a short while i really liked it. Better ride then the freightliners.

I asked about a Volvo, but was told all are waiting on parts....and all have been sitting in the same parking spot since I started here 5 weeks ago so it seems as if they aren't in any rush to fix.

I think my loaner is developing injector issues...when you 1st crank it, it lopes and sputters like they do when a fuel filter is changed...generally that means an injector is leaking.

As much as I BMW about things, I need to remember this....they've got me on a backhaul out of Quincy, WA to Dallas for Saturday...which means I will have, to put it in military terms, to let the air out of it. This will put me in the low 4000's for this paycheck. My weekly TAKE HOME pay for my 1st 6 weeks (not counting the orientation pay) is averaging over $900/week...I can't remember a time in my career, as a company driver, where I can say that...even when times were good over at Happy Valley, NE. So when I get to moaning and groaning about things here...I give permission to anyone here to give me a digital dope slap and bring me back to my senses!!!!

Things will continue to improve SSB, I anticipate a solid 65K net this year. I hve ran hard but as long as they are sending transfers to my account in good increments I am a pretty happy camper:) I5 to the Pilot a few miles S of where we exit to Sumner, the Loves south of that gets no tv reception and tghe internet is poor, just arrive eearly at Pilot because parking is not great

Made over 2 grand last week. Im not bringing in anything less then $1700 a run (out and back to gp) but i also take a few days off at gp after each run and get on the board as soon as possible. All ive done is northeast loads and run them at night. I've not been offered anything west. Just checked how many tire chains i got. All rusty in rust covered bags. Never chained b4 and if i can avoid it i'm going to. Looked at how to do it on youtube and thats gonna be fun in the winter.

Very nice right there. Honestly on chaining I lucked out last year where I only chained up once. That was actually this year in February. I took a trip to chyenne wy thinking I would be in and out before the storm.. Ended up getting a backhaul to green river which made me go thru the storm. And then it made me follow the storm all the way to pa. Great miles tho minus the storm. Also in the case of a storm your allowed to go which ever way you need to get to safer roads. Or atleast that's what Ive done and was told. Just something to keep in mind for this winter.

Just a heads up. I seen a lot of backhauls going from York, Pa to H.e.b dc's in texas. I just delivered in san Antonio heb dc last night and there was no lumper charge (surprisingly). . Also they had me out in 2 hrs which was shocking too. I normally spend 4 to 8 hrs at the one up the road. But just some more useful info.
