07:18 CST and nothing has come my way just yet. And I like it!

 

Knoxille--kinda overslept lol--Anybody been up/down 81in Va this AM--Tn threw way too much salt on plateau--trks a mess kinda like Ta run thru the wash 4 I head north--but won't bother ifn VA did same and 81 is covered w/dry dust--Thanx

 

I am at one of the few truck stops on I-90 MA... about 20 mins from receiver. Deliver on Monday.... There's nothing much around... A McDonald's but no outlet to plug my laptop... Will have to stay in the truck the whole time... If I were Cranky Yankee, I would check in the motel across the street... Or... maybe not... who knows... it might have bed bugs... The driver sitting in the truck next to mine must be smoking like a chimney... and the freaking smell permeates inside my truck... darn thing is giving me headache. I don't want to leave this spot because this is a great spot... Well... driver told me he will leave at night... I hope next one who parks near me doesn't smoke... This smell makes me sick...

 

if I was that close to my parents I would be there for the afternoon and deliver in the morning

 

On Monday, at 5 am (central time) I will have my 70 again... A friend of mine (Brazilian truck driver) is visiting his son about 1:30 mins from here... I am not going anywhere and I am sure he is not coming here either... Turned my bunk heater on and will keep it on all night long.... This place is COLD...

Well... time to idle then...

 

No text or phone call today. So my bet is no one was in the office.

 

7 loads today. Called it a day at 7pm. The day went smoothly for the most part. Getting easier by the day. Was a beautiful day today, sunshine, no clouds, no wind and not all that cold. It seemed to be a bit quieter around the place today, maybe some trucks on their days off.
