Most of my mail (banking, statements, etc) comes via computer and paperless billing, but what do I do about the other mail I get delivered to the mail box outside? I'm single and I don't know anyone who can retrieve and hold my mail.
Anyone have this problem? Any advice? :biggrin_25511:

Check with the Post Office and see what a PO Box would cost, or if they have suggestions on what to do.
Good luck in your adventure, and stay safe.

You can get a box at a private mailbox place, the post office will forward there. Then call them when you want your mail sent to you, they will drop it in fedex overnigh in one big envelope

Thanks, good advice... do you think they would overnight it to say a hotel? I'm sure they would.

Yes... I have a box at a small place, family owned (like a ups store, but less rules). They are very amenable and helpful

    Try these:

    UPS Store - Cedar City
    Mailboxes Etc. - Cedar City

We've used a PO box $38/year - tax deductible, and for $75, I installed a lockable mail box at the road, welded to an old tractor rim, buried 12 inches deep.

That son, will mess your fender UP!

Be sure the address on your CDL matches the safest mail receptacle you have.

BTW - good question, and one that can cost you a lot of Tylenol if you overlook it.

Ha-Ha! So funny! What a great idea! Seriously though, $38 a year & tax deductible?... Done! Great advice, thanks!

Just curious... Why the "safest" receptacle?

I had a REAL important piece of mail sent to the address on my CDL that I had not updated and my licence got CANCELLED just after I landed the awesome job.

That taught me to keep that bizzo straighter than Bill Clinton.

I also found that after moving to a small town from a larger one, the po box was a lot cheaper. You may want to shop the USPS vs.the independent mail places.

Anything like stamps and mail boxes I put in the itemised taxes - you gotta pay bills on the road at times ( online banking? Don't know what you're talking about ;)
