So I was in a company paid training program for 3 weeks and then they decided to not continue the training. So I plan on taking the training I did receive for the most part and take my cdl test. The question is basically if I get my cdl on my own is would I have to go through the whole process of training again if I went with a company that trained you. And I also have tractor/ trailer experience from my time with the military. Any suggestions will help.....

More than likely the next company will re-train you. Some companies are now accepting 88m experience like Schneider.

Mrs. Clinton had an interview with Soldiers about this very subject and swore to do something about it. I had no idea SNI was doing this, but glad to hear it. Maverick will hire you without training. I am sure there are more. Thanks for your service comrade...

Im a 12v but when i was overseas i did more 88m than asphalt. The vehicles arent on my military license but I could have my sgt. verify my experience but I dont know if that would help.

You can go to the DMV and get a paper requesting that your Commander verify in writing that you drove that equipment that is listed on you 348 card. OK

Sorry to hear that comrade but, not all is lost. Bottom line, you can go take your test and get your license. If you know anyone that has a truck or just find someone on here that lives close to you, they may allow you to use their truck for the test. If I had my own truck and lived close to you, I would meet you at the DMV on the day of your test, let you use my truck and that would be that. So, I am sure someone on her or someone you know, will help you out comrade. Once you have your license, you can pull a flatbed (Maverick), or a van (Schneider) and I know I have seen on here other companies that will take you, as long as everything else checks out of course.
