Instead of laundry powder, I like those little packets of concentrated laundry detergent, they dissolve in water.

Remember to get or make your own receipts for the laundry and showers you pay cash for.

I rarely did laundry on the road, never in a truck stop. I'd buy laundry supplies at whatever laundromat I used. I (alone) could pack plenty of clothes in a 60" condo since I spent 99% of my time in shorts and a pocket-T, 365. I'd get home, drop 50-60 bucks of laundry off in the morning, pick it up in the evening, clean and folded. If I ran out of clean clothes I'd stop at Walmart and buy some. When I was driving I had many better things to do than laundry. Coincidentally, I have to go add softener to a load...

    Amazon to the rescue!
    http://amzn.com/B004MNKOEI

44 sheets for $17.98 and eligible for Amazon Prime! I was about to link a 190 sheet listing, but the seller wasn't up to my standards.

Whatever you do,don't buy laundry soap at truckstops.Talk about a major ripoff.Very small box maybe 5 loads or less and you're paying as much as you would at a Walmart for like 20 loads. They don't even have a handle on it.You think the price they charge they would order soap with plastic handles on them.

The laundry pods are usually cheaper at a Big Lots, Ollie's, or where we found in a WalMart, at the other end of the soaps. The pods are HE, but it is small writing.
