Well, got the call from Holly at Prime, and scheduled to start orientation on January 28th. Been doing a lot of reading on this site and want to say thank you to IP, JimmyBones, and SilentEagle for all their posts which have helped me making this decision (and the rest of y'all too). Going flatbed division, so let's see how it goes!!! Now just to wait for the next month to pass so I can see what everyone else on here has been talking about.
And it's gonna be a long month...my current job is right on I-75 and the office faces the interstate. So I stare at trucks passing by all day long and anticipate this jump and look for Prime trucks. Anyone who travels North bound on 75 coming into Gainesville, FL can't miss me...look for that big *** Farm Bureau sign!!!! Again, thanks to everyone on here for their experiences and input which has helped guide me this direction. Looking forward to this.

Good luck bud.
I'd rather be in your neck of the woods.
Bring a jacket !Stewie9662 Thanks this. -
2 other driver on here from hawthorne.
1 is drtydiesel,
who started with Roehl a couple years ago, forget the other.Stewie9662 Thanks this. -
Good luck! I'm doing the TNT part right now and having a blast
DLC Thanks this. -
Gonna do some freezing that's for sure, but decided it's better to learn winter driving with a trainer next to me instead of barreling down a mountain alone!!! I remember seeing some posts from drtydiesel and was gonna hit him up if I went the Roehl direction, but I really want to do flatbed and all they have available is slip-seat positions. Just as when I was a child, I don't like to share!

There's a few PSD Flatbed trainers both smoker and non smoker. When I tested out there was only two of us testing with a Flatbed.
Stewie9662 Thanks this. -
I was gonna hit you up about that Ducttape. Hopefully I luck out and one of them will be looking for a student/trainee around that same time that I am ready to get on the road. I know the PSD portion is just learning to drive, whether a flat or a box, but after reading a lot of posts on here, I gather they handle/back a little different from each other. So if I'm given the option, I'd prefer to be with a flat the entire time. But then again, I'll train with whoever will take me on. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Can't wait to get going myself.

Best of luck to you! I am scheduled to start orientation on January 7th in SpringMO. If you have any questions about the first couple of weeks after I start, PM me anytime. You're right about this forum, too. When I first made the decision to start this new journey, I couldn't have asked for a better source of information from guys who know their stuff (and a few guys that obviously don't---but hey, we all need a good laugh now and then). I look forward to working with ya!

I am also starting with Prime on the 28th. Out of Western Colorado I could only get flatbed, but that's ok.

Had to postpone my start, so it looks like ill be there with you guys the 28th. Looking at northeast regional myself.
DLC Thanks this.
