I hope none of you were around minneapolis last night. 2.5 hours to get from the west side to the east on 494, not a salt shaker to be seen. A few trucks had problems getting up the last hill before 94. Lots o fun.

Not me and so Glad I wasn't there to join your fun. I'm at home starting my rebuild and as I tear it down, I find my camshaft trashed and several cam rollers. My wife is starting to think this is going to cost more than a pretty penny.

 

Sorry to hear that. So does that mean you'll have to take it out of her jewelry budget?

 

Nothin' like tearin' down an engine on the holidays. Let us know how it goes. If it keeps running i might pay u to do mine.

 

It's been a planned teardown. And I've done one before. I just wasn't expecting to buy a new cam and all the followers. That added 3K to the parts bill.

I'm little to slow to do it for anyone else as I take 2-3 weeks.
