Back to the grindstone. Headed up east of Calhoun, GA to pick up going to Schulenburg, TX for Thursday. Would've been able to pick up today...but right before I left, I had to comfort my wife before she headed for the Hospice center to see her dad. I hope that my shipper is open at least half the day since it's New Years eve. I tried to call several times but got voicemail.

Something new on my truck is acting up. My engine fan won't shut off. I unplugged the electric air solenoid and you can hear it unload air then reload when you reconnect it, it didn't help, so it's not that. And since that is what the computer uses to activate the fan for all the different sensors that need the fan on, it must be the fan hub. I don't hear any air leaks but the only thing it hurts is the fuel mileage...the temp gauge stays normal so it'll have to wait.

Well on my way up to Webberville, MI for a Friday delivery, figured I would take the snowy, cold trip and leave that plum College Park, GA load for LRW:). Stopping over tonight in the old home town for NYE and hopefully to visit some old friends. Have a safe night traveling the roads if you have to be out.

I stopped early myself...once it gets dark the amateur drunks come out of the woodwork on NYE.

You may have had the wrong Straight Talk phone (they have phones that use different networks)...my son-in-law, and my wife's cousins all have Straight Talk(Verizon models..1 has an iPhone, the others Sammy Galaxy S3) and travel all over (mostly east of the Rockies) and haven't had issues w/their phones not having data. In fact, my wife's cousins use FoxFi to wirelessly tether their S3's to their laptop/tablet like I do with my network phone.

I'm in Rawlins,WY for the night at the J. Waiting for the A&M/Duke bowl game to start. Enroute to Tacoma for 0900 Friday. Most likely will get a Roadrunner load as a backhaul (at least that's what I'm guessing).

Wishing everyone a very safe & prosperous new year. GIG'EM AGGIES!

Without a doubt. Duke's QB (Boone) played so good (partly because our defense sucked) it would not have bothered me if he was the MVP. Never the less, I'm very happy for the win.

It will be interesting to see how the Texans do next season with the new coach and Johnny Football at QB.

O'Brien certainly had an impressive resume. Not sure if Manziel is ready for the NFL. I think he needs another year at the college level.

Just like the old sayin, "Time will tell.". I hope it's favorable.

He's not ready, physically maybe, but definitely not mentally. doesn't mean he won't come out anyway...

Just have one thing to say about that...Tebow.(I'm the 1 person that lives close to Gainesville that didn't think he was the best thing that ever touched a football)

Maybe we've finally heard enough from him for a while...
