I am here to report that is company, is a bait and switch company, I responded to an ad on "Indeed" and a few days later I received a phone call from a gentleman who sounded sincere in placing my application to a certain company who it looked like when I applied to them was their actual website, So he tells me he is with this Truck Driving Jobs place and I OUT RIGHT Tell him, I am not interested in being placed through anyone that I can place myself, He proceeds to tell me that if I want my application to go to this company then he is just the middle man, he goes over the drivers qualifications and so forth, I said again that I was not interested in this process but if that is the only way to go about getting my application to this company then to go ahead, but that I'm not a piece of meat and will not be treated as such, He assures me that was not in the process and he reaffirms my email address and send me another application, which I thought I had already filled out, so I fill it out and send it bak to him, Today I receive an email stating that he has ran my back ground check and my MVR and will be forwarding it to this company, I asked him in three emails if he would give me this companies Mc and DOT Numbers so I could go and look them up, he said that the company will be contacting me and that they can give me their numbers, I said I was not happy with the process that he said was not the case but was the case and that I would be placing a post on here so here it is for what it is worth. Thank You.:yes2557::yes2557:

    luvtotruck,

I am sorry that you feel the way you do about National Truck Driving Jobs. From what I know of NTDJ, they are simply trying to find you a job. They find open and available positions that fit your requirements, needs and experience level. Then they help you get hired on to the company that you want. No "head hunter fees" or any charges to you. All you do is simply apply and they give you this free service of helping you find a position. If there are specifics about the DOT numbers or whatever information you might require, they will give you contact information to get a hold of the company in question so the company may properly answer your questions.

How was the classroom knowledge? How long were you in the classroom? If you ever have any questions feel free to give me a shout! I may be able to help you if not I'll tell you to go ask Pattyj or Chinatown! If he doesn't have an answer then there isn't one!

We spent the first two weeks watching many videos, reading maps, and practicing pre-trip planning. Since then we have been practicing our backing exercises in an old model freightliner. I'm doing pretty good! We will begin driving a new tractor/trailor on the highway after christmas break...kind of nervous about that!

Thanks, I'll give ya a holler if I need some help.

Update, Someone called me yesterday I assume from the Company actually hiring drivers, I left them a voice mail, and no one not even the guy that gets paid to hunt me has returned any messages or phone call, I still think this is not a good thing. If they need drivers and this guy was doing his job he would supply me with the correct numbers to contact the company. Wondering if this is going to happen.

    luvtotruck,

We have given your information to Omega Trucking. We also sent you the phone number to call the recruiting manager directly. I hope this helps move the process faster in getting a job with them. Our goal at NTDJ is to help you find a job at no cost to you/any driver. Which is a great deal. We find jobs in your area and contact the companies that are willing to hire you. This saves you time and to get you the job that fits you best. We also make sure that the hiring process works smoothly for both parties (the company and the driver). We have seen great success and drivers like using our services. We have placed hundreds of drivers just in the last year with companies that fit what they want and need. Whether its OTR or Local or anything in between, we do our best.

We are glad to hear that you want the job at Omega, and Omega will be contacting you soon to get you hired! It makes us happy to see that we found you a job that you wanted. Good luck! Let us know if you have any questions. Edwin at Omega will also be happy to answer specific questions like DOT numbers, etc.

When you fill out these online applications, do you have to give them your Social security # before you even know who the company is?
