    Thanks for the transparency.

I'm not trying to bash Prime - I've had a personal family experience with them, that I dealt with their safety guy on.

And there was a driver whose trainer abandoned him that we met in NJ years ago - I assume they have changed a few things sincethen.

If I lived in New York City, I'd hang out with Woody Allen.

If I lived in Missouri, I'd chase women in Branson.

I am at a similar place as you in the process. At one time I had a hold from my school for a small (1 credit) grant overpayment, but I called and explained that to someone at the school and they removed it since I was making payments to the DOE.

Since then I always logged on to the schools website (or live at campus when there) and printed my latest unofficial transcripts so I always had the most recent.

Any chance you can log on to the college website into your old student account and get an "unofficial transcript"? Some school skeep you active for up to two years. You might be able to go to campus and get one, or call and ask for the ombudsman or check with your local representative (Congressman, Senator) since all you are seeking is proof you went to school and it's preventing you from getting a job.

If you had any financial help from loans or grants you might also be able to log on to lender or federal websites and show proof of what school you attended. Now that DOE (Sallie Mae) has taken over student loans there website has lots of information on students that got financial aid.

As for the company, old pay stubs, a W-2 maybe? Maybe an old bank statement with direct deposit? Sometimes you can get these online.

Maybe old acceptance emails from either of these two?

If you are non-CDL, I believe you only have to go back three years. I was able to log on to my school, bank and a previous jobs websites for what I needed. I'm hoping it's good enough for Prime and anyone else I apply with, as I am turning in my applications soon through the CDL school I will be attending.

As an option, you might see if you can get a grant in your area for CDL school. I think the WIA (Workforce Investment Act) has grants available in most states. You can call CDL schools in your area to find out. There are also PELL (FAFSA/DOE) and state grants that can cover it in some areas. Maybe even "first responder" grants.

Prime is my first choice right now, and even though from my understanding the initial pay works a little different coming in with a CDL, for myself, I feel much better knowing I'll have it ahead of time.

Hope some of this helps. Best wishes.

I cant thank you enough, and honestly i never thought you guys here would be so helpful, i did exactly that, i had to reset the password to my log in bc i didnt remember but once i did that i printed my unofficial transcript into a pdf file and sent it to the recruiter, as far as the paystubs and w-2, i have fliped my apartment upside down looking for one and i cant find one!! But anyways thanks alot for the transcript idea, it really worked, in regards to the grant, ive done my research, people that are unemployed can get the grant for the full price of cdl school, i can only go for loans, and the interest for them are crazy expensive, i think my best bet is with prime, when crst first called me i did my research and about 95% of it was all negative, for prime its been all positive, of course theres going to be bumps on the road but thats to be expected, but i think is a far better company then crst. After i prove the last job all my paperwork would be good, jopefully i find that as soon as possible

    thans again!!!!

Well congrats on the transcript! I'm not sure, but maybe the IRS (or your tax preparer?) maintains copies of your W-2's, it is possible that Social Security can provide something. I'm wondering if your Prime recruiter might have suggestions? Depending on company size, perhaps an old online business listing (one of many - Manta, etc) or even a Wiki might provide names/emails of former Principals that could be of help, or if you can recall the name of a supervisor and look them up somehow online or via 411. Perhaps Prime would accept a statement (notarized?) from one of them if nothing else? Funny thing, I just looked up an old supervisor myself that way yesterday, and today I'll be calling in on a potential (non-CDL - box truck) driving job. Best wishes!

Prime is a much better starter company then CRST. Just stay company and don't lease for at least 3-5 years if you stay their that long.

Are there company drivers that have stayed with Prime for a good number of years? It sounds as though Prime would be a good company to have a career with.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

I am going with Prime on the 28th, seems that they offer one of the best training programs, and the most money. Haven't heard much positive about CRST, and I think they are pretty much team oriented.
