I am interested in information regarding Groendyke Transport Dallas/Ft. Worth. Specifically, what are the hours, what is the pay, and is this a generally good company to work for?

Depends on what you want to do for them. Local. OTR. They have gotten into local gas hauling lately. Most of their loads are for QT stores. Not sure if they have any other customers or not. OTR they are old hands. Haul chemicals and other stuff. Take pretty good care of equipment from what I have seen. Most of their drivers are pretty happy. Especially the OTR guys. Not sure about benefits or other. Call them.

Been with Groendyke fours years OTR, chemical out of Philadelphia terminal. Pay is 52 loaded, 40 mt. Only Philly, Atlanta and Chicago terminals pay mileage. The rest are percentage. $36 for unloading, plus $18 an hour after the first 2 hours. They are very professional and treat me well. No recruiters, you actually talk to a terminal manager that you will be working for so no bs lies. I stay out from 2 to 6 weeks depending on my mood. When I go home, they ask me when I want to go back out. Usually take about a week off. Job openings depend on what terminal you are out of. Some have otr, some local, they have both chemical and gas. No tank exp needed but must have 1 yr otr. I know my terminal is hiring. You can call a terminal close to you or apply online and it will go to nearest one. I drive a 2013 mid roof Frieghtliner.
mje Thanks this. -
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.! -
I've been trying to get on with them for a year. They are very polite with their letters of denial. Lol
Reverend Falstaff Thanks this. -
Same here....got the "Thanks, but no thanks" e-mail reply. Even though I always see their ads on Craigslist near my home looking for drivers.

I guess I'm not the only one to suffer the very polite rejection.

I was wondering if anyone knows about Groendyke fuel hauling in Colorado Springs, Co. How are the dispatchers to work with, terminal manger attitude, is the pay based on percentage or just a flat rate fee per stop, drivers attitudes, or just a good work environment perspective I guess is what I am looking for. I have an idea on what to expect when hauling fuel because thats what I do now. I just notice when I check Indeed.com for jobs they happen to pop up quite a bit looking for drivers. That doesn't give Groendyke a good impression, but they also could just be they keep hiring non-fuel hauling type drivers. I know a company is only as good as you make it out to be, but I have my doubts. I don't live in COS, but plan on moving their in the near future and would like to have a job before going out west. Feed back would be great thanks.
