Where Are You....continues........

The snow stopped falling, PA turnpike was cleaned up and I left the plaza this morning. Got to shipper in OH, was loaded in less than 30 mins and now I'm at another service plaza at the same PA turnpike. Will drop this load at the warehouse in PA again for the 4th time... will grab an empty and head to another shipper in PA on Sunday and then will go back to same warehouse again for the 5th time... Taking my 34 now at this plaza. And the freaking snow started falling again... but it's very light.

 

That all I got an 05 w---1,585,899 at least till morning then u can add nother 800 or so---lol

Finished up in South Windsor CT yesterday morning, as it was snowing like crazy again. Been tusslin' with this storm for a week now. Hope it's good 'n dead. Went up to Chicopee to await the next adventure, grab some grub at the diner, 'n get some sleep. Sun came out! Woot, WOOT!

Got my next one that involved finding a washout in Massholeachussets on a late Friday afternoon... can't pick up without it. Got one just barely, hit the pickup in Devon, and am at the rest area on the northbound side of the turnpike in Kennebunk ME. Time to hit the road before Rock's next frickin' snowstorm heads up this way!!

 

Oh! The mechanic called me Thursday. He said the trailer is inspected if you need it.
Pretty much NONE of the stuff I wanted done to it HAD been done.
I did not need it Thursday or Friday.

It needed DOT Reflective tape. The VIN stamped on the frame.And the wiring fixed on the breakaway battery.

 

But mine is a Dodge pickup.

 

Was thinking here.... when I arrive at the co warehouse in PA tomorrow morning, that tiny docking area will be covered with a lot snow on top of ice... There will be nobody there... and I will have to put the trailer at one of the two available docks and then get an empty for next pick up on Sunday night... I really don't like this... Got frostbite in some of my fingers from that darn playing with ice the other night... Tip of some fingers are still totally numb, may develop blisters and hopefully they will heal but it may take weeks... I definitely don't want to get them frozen again... But may have to shovel snow to put trailer at the dock tomorrow... This is starting to really suck.

 

Gots my vote fer one of the toughest winters I've been in out here!

 

I was in Brasil the last winter... came back in middle of Jan and still got some winter but not as bad as this... besides, I was in that Walmart account and the places I went were GREAT compared to this...

Truck was in the shop more then on the road last week. That good ol' anti-smog DEF crap Put it in the shop Thursday and they finally got it done Saturday. So we'll see how long it lasts.
