See a lot of landstar and such, but Mercer is new to my ears. I've seen a lot of them, but never looked into it. Basic info like freight, types, pay, fuel pay, basic info I guess. Thank you!
Can I get some info on Mercer?

I think there is a big thread on here about Mercer, and Landstar,
-
Go to Motor Carriers-the inside scoop. There are comments made regularly on the Mercer thread and you can read some earlier posts. Plenty of info there.Battle Born Thanks this.

Thanks guys.
-
most the guys there seem to be happy, gotta be a good sign
-
I am so happy I have to sit on my hands to keep from clapping. and I am dead serious about that, I love it here.
-
What skateboard said, squared. Compared to other places I've been, it's like I died and went to heaven.
ingedavi, POPS3480 and Battle Born Thank this. -
Skateboard and spyder knocked it outta the park. I agree 100%. Best decision I've ever made was signing on at Mercer. And I'm a van operator. Lol

The coordinators help you out if needed if I'm hearing correctly? I know I'll need some help to get out the gate. I'm used to people telling me what my loads are, not me being able to plan myself.
-
It's really not that hard. After having a "dispatcher" get loads for me for many years, I now pretty much dispatch myself the majority of the time unless something that meets my preferences pops up when I'm driving and can't check the load board myself. I've been here about 3 months and I absolutely love it. But yes, you can have the coordinator run you just like you're used to and never find loads on your own.
