If a PM is approved and done at SPEEDCO while on the road....... after PM is complete call the shop and give them the current mileage so they can reset the next due mileage. Your good to go for another 15k miles.

Well a wonderful 11 days off at the homestead. Picked up a load on the east coast of NC headed back to Arlington, TX for a solid 1400+ two day run out of the door. Only 2 loads left for Wednesday so I chose the Loveland, CO one which has a back haul already set up that picks up in Parachute, CO and heads back to near Asheville, NC. So pretty good running the first week back. Little chilly tonight in Amarillo but I think the old flat iron steaks will be hitting the grill regardless.

After 7 hours, they changed the filter and topped off the oil. Started it up, and after getting the engine up to temp, the oil pressure idled at 20 and would build to 45. They plugged in a computer and checked the error codes. Said nothing active. Had some stored codes including one for an oil
pressure sensor. All the emission readings and exhaust pressures were normal.

I was in the mortgage business for about 10 years, and I know what you're going through. This was always the hard part for my clients. When you find the house you want and have to wait for the approval is the stressful part. My advice to you is to just "keep the faith" that it will go through, and if it doesn't, you weren't meant to buy that house, and there is probably one that will offer an even better situation for you.

Regarding the miles, it sounds like you just have to find a way to show the underwriter that your husband really will make the income you guys need to qualify for the loan. You might try talking to a Poly recruiter to see if there is anything in writing showing that there is a minimum number of miles he has to drive.

Hopefully your mortgage guy is good, and can find a creative way to provide the documentation they need. Good luck!

Yeah, it's stressful! My husband is really stressed right now because we need 4 weeks of pay before closing, and this week would be the first. Well, he's stuck on a back haul that doesn't deliver until Monday morning in Waco, they won't relay or take the load early, so he's worried that he won't get the miles in on this first pay and that it will hurt us in the long run. I tried calming him down by explaining that they want 4 weeks to get an average, so even if this first week is low (he's going to at least try to put in the first leg of the trip), that next weeks will be higher and they will balance out. He knows how much I want to move, so he's stressing out that he might "mess it up" because of them not taking this load early. He had other job offers, so he was ready to throw in the towel, but I talked him out of it. Starting a new job and then the added stress of moving/trying to get the loan to move ASAP, it's just too much on the poor guy. :-( I let him know that I can wait another week till we move. It's not a big deal.

gj, tell your husband to request a 900 same. I'll send you a PM with my phone number. If he has questions tell him to call me. He can also call Jerry or a driver supervisor.

I made it back to GP...and got my *bleep* reamed by Mike about this truck. The Petro shop claims they put 2.5 gal of oil in the truck (part of which was to fill a new filter) but he checked the oil too soon after the engine shut off even after I told him to wait. I had checked it twice before it went in to have the filter replaced and it was in the safe zone. This a.m. when I fueled at the yard...it was over. When I got to the yard, security gave me a writeup on it for inspect/work. It turns out that even though the Petro shop plugged in the laptop and pulled codes, I was suppose to tell the company shop to do it too...I was never informed of this...a rather heated discussion ensued. So now I am waiting for my loaner to get fixed...and my regular truck to get fixed.

The regular truck writeup also caused friction. They wondered why I had so much...when I went down the list, about half was 'I wrote that up before, and they couldn't find anything and the problem has gotten worse".

In fact I just got off the phone with Mike. He was wondering how long I was going to leave my loaner on the side of the shop...When I told him the last time I saw it a mechanic was driving it into the shop to work on it..check with the tech....his reply was "oh, let me check"....did we hire some ex-Crete management, or did the shop got to 'management for dummies' coarse at CCC-U?

I love working here, but that shop is going to really rub me the wrong way and bring out the a'hole in me.

dont feel bad, ive been here for 3 months and just found out we have to take the green tags off the trailer on the way out, the guard was the first one in 3 months to take it off on my trl, so i asked him about it and he said if the guard dont take it off the driver should and put in box on way out, no one ever told me, i just thought those tags were for a once a month inspection or somthin, so my trlrs have been goin out and comin back in with green tag and probably not gettin inspected bfore they were loaded again, didnt kno they have to green tag them before they go out b4 every load, but i guess it really dont matter cuz i hooked a loaded trl that they couldnt fix the lights on and had a tire with a major tear in the sidewall that was green tagged the day bfore, so i had to reload, learn somthin new everyday here lol most of its from this thread tho

JD, he actually did do this earlier today, so he's good. I think he was just a little frustrated earlier and didn't think about it, but he messaged me back about an hour after I posted and said that's what he was going to do, so all is good again. :)
