Not surprised really. but seeing this posting helped with deciding if I would work with them, Was offered a driving position with K&B this week, and was looking for information on this company. A few years ago while on OTR, I did learn/hear these type stories often, which I figured was a normal. Many dispatchers don't look at your on-time or off time. You handle the phone better than I would have, but I would also refused the load after taking a first 10 hour break. (some companies tell you Oh- you are forced dispatched) you have to take load. Regardless of your condition, you are stuck with load. Just saying, I would have been freaking mad receiving that load assignment after taking a 10 hour break.

 

I see this type of message over and over in these forums.

Are these the only two jobs people can do? It's either drive a truck, or go flip burgers.

There are other career fields.

 

Don't you mean TRUCK DRIVER WHO KISSES ###?Which I have never been and never will be. Abe has done more then his fair share of favors for dispatch and they can't meet him half way without a fight.Abe already had this load assignment long before he had to take his second brk.He did try to and talk to dispatch a lot of good that did.He also numourous times tried to talk to dispatch about the loads.Alot of good that does.You'd be better off talking to a wall.Abe had no choice but to take this load because dispatch would have yelled threatened like u seen on the video and then give him another unreasonable load.Dinomite you really need to wake up and realize supertrucking is a thing of the past.

No, they quit talking about the dispatcher a long time ago.

 

I'm willing to bet that if he's still driving in 20 years he will still be a number at a mega company and still be busy making his videos. ... and be found at the dinner counter recounting the day he was the YouTube hero of the industry.
