Call who? The U S Marshall Service? For what? Are you a fugitive from justice? If your calling them for any thing regarding the trucking industry, then you would be better off to call Tommy Lee Jones. A few years ago, I attended a retirement party for a U S Marshall. I was fortunate to actually sit at his table. During the course of the evening, other Marshall service employees came and went, congratulating him. When people began to leave, there were about a dozen of us left sitting around. I posed the question, about the U S Marshall service intervening in trucker related issues. You would have thought you were at a comedy fest. They adamantly said that they have never ever been called to a weigh station, or anywhere else, with regards to a truck driver. 100% absolute BS, that's been a trucker tale for decades. Their duties include Fugitive Apprehension, Prisoner Transportation, Judicial and Court Security, Asset Forfeiture, Witness Security, not rescuing truck drivers!

I worked for ptl too 2013 t02014. I was an operator and I bought a pro star international from ptl. I worked hard and was on the road a lot. I was always courteous and honest with them as I am with anyone. I worked there for two months when they began to steal money. usually this was 1800 miles or more on a single trip. I would call finance and the lady that did payroll would cuss me out and call me names. I asked her if she made a mistake and fix it. she would hang up on me. the next week it would appear on my next settlement and it wasn't right. I never got paid for that trip. they would do this every 2 months. I don't go job to job and I hung in there till February 2014. my truck broke down and I didn't have any money because my miles fell off due to me calling finance. I was told my truck was pulled off the board and then a toll truck came and towed the truck to the auction. this was done without my consent. I was a true owner operator. my name was on the deed. I was not treated too good there. pam in operations was rude and tried to bully me around. I dont't let anyone bully me around. I was polite and I got her angry at me because I laughed at her. I told her I didn't take her seriously. she always threatened me because I wanted to know why I wasn;t paid and the excuse was missing paperwork. I transflowed all paperwork so I had all paperwork with me. this is a bad company to work for. I need a good lawyer anyone know of a good lawyer. thanks you for reading and don't work here. I don't want youall to go through this.

Maybe they'll make it into an audiobook we can listen to while driving. I vote Al Pacino do the reading of it. "Then the motel lady...FIRED US...from the company!!!"

Thank you. And well said. I found out the hard way that the “Call the Federal Marshall” crap was pure BS. I actually called them once to come out to the Toys R US place in Youngstown OH. They didn’t allow lumbers on the facility so I had to do an “assist” in order to unload the truck. So I left and went to the Petro and boo hooed about it on the CB radio. Someone said I should call the Marshal. So I did. They laughed at me on the phone. I felt like a complete idiot. Lesson learned
