when you fall about 20 MPH below the posted speed limit ,you then become a road hazard.
use the flashers to alert those behind you that there is a hazard ahead.
not all people do this, but we wish they would.
I learned it yrs ago.
and also headlights on when road surface is wet.
you may be able to see fine but we can't see you in the spray beside the truck.

I wish more drivers throw their flashers on when coming into a traffic jam.

Those emergency flashers are there for decoration during the holiday season.

It's also a law in many places. Look for the signage and pay attention. Same most often applies to using the right lane when you do.ncmickey Thanks this.

Becaucse like the others have said, it gives the others warning you are moving slow. And I do not want to get hit in the backside. That is an exit only detail on me. lol
